Branding bean to screen

 

A creative and comprehensive take on the story of coffee, for Picturehouse’s own-label brew.

Concept

Serving great coffee is a must for Picturehouse. We helped introduce their own blend, branding every step of the way.  

Coffee bags rest prominently in cafe and bar areas, so the product required a unique, eye-catching identity, with branding that looked good, whilst telling a story. 

Provenance is the point of difference, so we used illustration to share the journey from grower, shipper, roaster to barista, and finally the theatre.

Delivery

To support a concise conceptual delivery, our branding services began with helping to select the blend and roast of the beans. 

This close connection to the product flowed through to brand copywriting, including coffee names, strapline and tasting notes.

Creating a logo from a film reel and spool was simple yet effective, and instantly placed the coffee within the cinema’s brand universe.
